About

I am an HCPC registered Educational Psychologist. I work alongside schools to support inclusion through INSET or ongoing training, consultation and policy analysis. I also work with schools and parents to understand individual needs through assessment and problem solving. My work is child centred and relational, I offer a range of services and annual traded packages with schools, as well as individual sessions for assessment or consultation.

I am a published author and active contributor to research in educational psychology, My most recent book, Reimagining Education, published by Routledge in 2025, draws on large-scale pupil voice research to explore themes of belonging, wellbeing, mental health, curriculum change and alternative models of practise. Across my publications I translate psychological theory into practical insight for educators, leaders and anyone committed to improving outcomes for children.

Podcasts

The NottAlone Podcast is a space for honest conversations about mental health. My cohost and I invite a range of guests who have personal experiences with mental health challenges, or expertise in specific areas such as school anxiety. Season 1 focuses on topics relating to children’s mental health, season 2 on adult mental health, and in season 3 we invited young people in to talk about their personal experiences. Season 4 is currently in the making and will be a collection of ‘ask the expert’ episodes in which psychologist guest will cover hot topics in the field.
